Revisions made to the ICDS reports for mid-year 2006 and the logic of the reports

There are four ICDS reports located under Headquarters Adhoc Reports.  The ICDS reports are:

  1.             ICDS - Facility Took Action;
  2.             ICDS - Inspector Supplied Teir 1 Compliance Assistance;
  3.             ICDS - Total Inspection Subject to ICDS; and
  4.             ICDS - Deficiencies Observed and Communicated.

The following revisions were made to the reports in April 2006 prior to mid-year reporting:

A. Inspection data returned on each of these four reports must meet the following Conditions:

            1. Is an Inspection performed in FY2006  (enter correct date span on prompts for NPDES and Non-NPDES inspections). The only exception is CWA        Pretreatment Industrial User I hardcorded these dates due to last minute information I received on the dates. There are no Preatreatment POTW counts since these are not ICDS required.

            2. Is conducted by EPA and not an oversite inspection

            3. Is one of the programs specified as ICDS required.

B. The additional requirements for the individual reports are:

            1.  ICDS Deficiencies Observed and Communicated - In ICIS the following questions MUST have been answered YES:

                        Did You Observe Deficiencies?

                        Did You Communicate Deficiencies?

            2.  ICDS Facility Took  Action - In ICIS the following questions MUST have been answered YES:

                        Did You Observe Deficiencies?

                        Did You Communicate Deficiencies?

                        Did You Observe or See the Facility Take Action to Address Deficiencies?

            3. ICDS Inspector Supplied Tier I Compliance Assistance.- In ICIS the following question MUST have been answered YES:

                        Inspector Supplied Tier I Compliance Assistance?

            4. ICDS - Total Inspections Subject to ICDS - In ICIS the inspection must be one of the required programs to use ICDS.

                                    There is no check on whether or not any of the ICDS questions were actually answered.
