Recording Enforcement and Inspection Activities at Federal Facilities in ICIS
Purpose: Document in ICIS all enforcement activity related to federal facilities for both internal management use and public reporting.
Data Entry: Please add at the end of all enforcement action and compliance monitoring activity names the abbreviation “(FF)” to identify an activity as having involved a “federal facility” (example below). This is a temporary workaround that allows the Federal Facilities program to quickly find in ICIS all federal facility related enforcement/compliance monitoring activities. The ICIS Governance Board endorsed several changes to ICIS, including changes that make it easier to identify enforcement and compliance assistance activities involving federal facilities. A more permanent ICIS solution for identifying federal facilities has been proposed and is currently being developed.
