Ensuring Integrity of Reported Enforcement and Compliance Data ("The JP Suarez Data Integrity Memo") 5-6-03


The memo was signed by JP Suarez on May 6, 2003. The subject of the memo is "Ensuring Integrity of Reported Enforcement and Compliance Data." At the March 11-12, 2003 Senior Managers Meeting, OECA highlighted the need for better quality control in entering and retrieving compliance and enforcement data. JP designated Better Use of Data as a major management priority for OECA. The purpose of this memorandum is to identify the steps that we all need to take to ensure the integrity of the enforcement and compliance data and increase the use of this information as a management tool.
